Cauvery Ammal Teacher Training Institute

Our institute has been established in the academic year 2004-2005 through the Akshaya Charitable Trust promoted by its Managing Trustee, Lion. Dr.E.N.Palanisamy MJF,the Correspondent of the Institute.

Our college is situated at Akshaya Nagar in Cauvery Ammal campus, on the out-skirts of Dindigul in a vast campus that spreads over 25 acres. The serene surroundings and calm atmosphere provide a suitable environment for learning.

Our college has been recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, Bangalore in its letter no APSO 0974 F.SRO/NCTE/TN-A1/2004-05/93/9 dated 13.12.04

The Government of Tamil Nadu has issued “No objection Certificate” for starting this Training Institute in letter no. 18925/U1/2003-9 dated 13.06.2003.

Knowledge and practical applicability is enhanced with educational devices with multimedia computers, overhead projectors, linguaphone, slide projectors etc. It enables the faculty to adopt modern educational technology so as to provide rich learning experience. Very big library containing more than 10000 volumes of books periodicals, dictionaries, and encyclopedias supplement the knowledge to our teacher trainers. Fully equipped language lab and computer lab are fully utilised for the enrichment of the students especially in spoken language and adaptation of modern teaching methods.

It has on its roll, well qualified staff members whose interest is taken care by the management.

The college provides hostel facilities for boys and girls separately.
