Akshaya Centre for Education is an English Medium School affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The School was founded in the year 1985 and got its affiliation with C.B.S.E. in the year 1989 and the first batch of STD X wrote their Public Examination conducted by C.B.S.E. in March 1990.
The school is proud to say that school is maintaining centum result in Std X Public Exam for the last 21 years continuously. From March 2008 the school management has been headed by Lion.Dr. E.N. Palanisamy, MJF, an astute businessman, and a philanthropist with a genuine intention of providing ideal and value based education. Founded in June 1994, Akshaya Vidyalaya Matric Higher Secondary School, a part of Lion Dr.E.N.Palanisamy’s various other educational institutions ranging from Kinder-garten, Primary, Secondary, Higher Secondary, CBSE, Teachers Training, B.Ed. and M.Ed. educational set ups, is situated in a sylvan surrounding of 25 acres away from the hustle and bustle of Dindigul.
Academics
The school follows Matriculation syllabus with Tamil/Hindi/French as the second languages from classes V and above and Hindi as additional language for all students studying Std. I and above. We maintain an average of 22 students per teacher and this enables individual attention to students. Teachers employed are of high standard and well paid to meet the demands of time.

Amma Illam
A Home of Mentally Retarded Children
Of all the contributions made by Dr.E.N.P. His contribution to Amma Illam is the foremost and astounding. “AMMA ILLAM” a home for mentally retarded children was started at Dindigul in June 1991. Started with the small number of 12 mentally disabled in 1992, is presently having a strength of 117 children who are shelter in the own building donated by Dr.E.N.P. Its main objectives are
To provide education and training to mentally disabled children
To provide medical care
To run a hostel
To visit parents and provide guidance to them.
The organization is adjudged as the best kind in Tamil Nadu by the Government of Tamil Nadu for the year 2007-08 and the founder was honoured by the Government of Tamil Nadu in befitting manner. Now there are 96 male and 21 female children in the home. These uncared and neglected children are given all assistance like food and shelter in the home. Four well trained special teachers are employed to teach them Yoga, Arts and Crafts etc... A total crew of 17 people is on the heels to attend to the needs of these neglected children.
